I do have an eReader. It's a Kindle Keyboard which I received as a Christmas present in 2010. I also have several reading apps (Kindle, OverDrive, BlueFire, etc.) on my iPad. I mostly read library books on my Kindle because I prefer to own print copies of most of the books I read. My Kindle has been a life-saver that last few months when my 3-week visit to my mother's house has changed into a much longer visit. I've been kept in books this entire time, no packing required.

But, as I said, I mostly prefer to purchase my books. I buy hardcovers when available. Once I learned that authors make next to nothing on paperback sales (Mass Market PBK for certain, don't really know about the others), I made it a priority to purchase the hardcover. It's not always possible, nor can I always afford it, but I succeed in getting the HC edition more often than not.

I received a Nook Color for Christmas a few years ago and have never turned back. I love books, but e-books are better when it comes to storage space. Since my local book stores have closed, I rarely buy books and stick with e-books.

I don't. I haven't given in to that yet, hehe. I'm not really a fan, I much prefer to read actual books. But maybe one day I will find an e-reader more convenient.

No. Not a fan, no reason to buy one. *shrug*

I have no intentions to ever buy any format other than actual paper books.

I have a basic Nook Simple Touch, because it was really, really cheap a year or so ago. Until that point, I never thought an e-reader could be more than a curiosity to me. It is, though: for travelling light, it simply beats paper books hollow. As it's not a colour model, the battery lasts forever (a month at least) and unlike my tablet it reads perfectly in direct sunlight.

All that said, I still prefer real, paper books. For things like atlases, I don't think I would ever want them any other way. But being realistic, I have limited space and I can keep more books in e-format than I can in paper. Most of us don't have the luxury of being able to set aside whole rooms as libraries, much as I'd love to!

I have a kindle. I like it, but my favourite format is paperback books.

Not yet. Maybe someday I'll consider having one, but I love paper books too much.

The variety of real books, from the texture of the paper to the smell of the pages, the feel of the cover, the way it decorates a book shelf, it all plays a part in the experience of reading. I read stuff online too or in PDF formats, but books have a special part in my cheesy heart.
